How We Got Here

Hawaiian Husky was founded in Lakeland, Florida by the inventor and owner, Rebecca Stone.  As a kid, she always dreamed of being a veterinarian, however, life took a turn after she finished her bachelors degree in biology-prehealth  at the University of Florida. Her idea began one hot day walking outside when she complained for the 100th time about  people walking their dogs when it was 104 degrees outside. This inspired her to  create the first product by Hawaiian Husky- the Cooling Clay Collar. The idea behind it was to create an affordable and practical solution to cooling down pets, while raising awareness of heat stress to pet owners. She found her path to making a difference in pet care after all, " and there are plenty more solutions to come," she says.
